Product Description
Interleukin 21 (IL-21) is a potent immunomodulatory cytokine primarily produced by NKT cells and CD4 + T cells, particularly the inflammatory Th17 subset. It exerts pleiotropic effects on both innate and adaptive immune responses. These include positive effects such as enhancing proliferation of NK cells and cytotoxic T cells, and inhibitory effects on the antigen-presenting function of dendritic cells. IL-21 also has proapoptotic effects on B cells and NK cells. Recent studies have shown that IL-21 functions as an autocrine cytokine, strongly inducing Th17 differentiation and suppressing Foxp3 expression, making it a potential therapeutic target for treating cancer and inflammatory diseases.
50μg
Verified Reactivity: Human
Reported Reactivity: Rhesus
Antibody Type: Monoclonal
Host Species: Mouse
Immunogen: Recombinant full length human IL-21
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Concentration: 0.5 mg/ml
Storage & Handling: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C.
