Product Description

BG-4, also known as blood group antigen H (type 1), is a carbohydrate sequence linked to a protein or ceramide. BG-4 is a precursor to the A and B antigens in the ABO system. For individuals with O type blood, the BG-4 antigen remains unmodified. BG-4 formation is catalyzed by the fucosyltransferase 1 enzyme (FUT1). BG-4 is expressed on erythrocytes and epithelial cells, and is thought to play a role in immune response, cell-cell recognition, and in the structural integrity of cells.
100μg
Verified Reactivity: Human
Antibody Type: Recombinant
Host Species: Mouse
Immunogen: This antibody was developed against the SW-403 colon cancer cell line. It is specific for Blood group H (type 1).
