Product Usage Information For optimal ChIP results, use 5 μL of antibody and 10 μg of chromatin (approximately 4 × 10 6 cells) per IP. Background Metastasis associated gene 3 (MTA3) is a cell-type specific subunit of the NuRD deacetylase complex. Much like MTA1 and MTA2, MTA3 does not associate with other family members, forming a unique NuRD complex. MTA3 has been shown to be estrogen-dependent and a key regulator of Snail and E-cadherin in breast cancer (1). B lymphocyte differentiation has been shown to be dependent on the ability of BCL6 to use MTA3 as a cofactor (2). MTA3 has also been shown to repress the Wnt4 pathway (3).
