Product Description
Secondary Antibody for studying in the research area.
Product Usage Information
The optimal dilution of the anti-species antibody should be determined for each primary antibody by titration. However, a final dilution of 1:1600 - 1:3200 should yield acceptable results for immunofluorescent assays. Texas Red has relatively low photostability. Usage of an antifade reagent is recommended to preserve signal intensity.
Storage
Supplied lyophilized in a formulation of 0.02 M potassium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride (pH 7.2), 10 mg/mL BSA, and 0.01% azide. Store lyophilized product for up to 12 months at 4C. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20C or below to avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Reconstitute lyophilized material with 1.0 mL dH2O and centrifuge until clear if needed. Once reconstituted, the undiluted liquid product is stable for six weeks at 4ºC. âDilute to a working solution immediately prior to use.
Specificity / Sensitivity
Goat Anti-Horse IgG, Fc Fragment Antibody (Texas Red Conjugate) reacts with the Fc portion of horse IgG. This antibody conjugate does not react with the Fab portion of horse IgG.
Species Reactivity: Horse
Background
This product is optimized for use as a secondary antibody in immunofluorescent applications. Fluorescent anti-species IgG conjugates are ideal for immunofluorescence. Cell Signaling Technology applies strict quality control procedures to ensure that each conjugate provides optimal specificity and fluorescence.
