As with all GPCRs, GPR64 likely plays a role in transmitting signals from the extracellular environment and driving downstream signaling cascades that result in various physiological processes. GPR64's specific physiological functions are currently unknown, but its expression is linked with several cancers and may drive tumor growth in cancers like Ewing sarcoma and endometrial cancer (2-4).
