ZCCHC3 was also shown to bind dsRNA and promote the binding of dsRNA by the retinoic acid-inducible gene-I (RIG-I)-like receptors (RLRs) RIG-I and MDA5, playing a critical role in RLR-mediated innate immune response to RNA virus (3).
