Highly specific and rigorously validated in-house, CD20 (L26) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (CST #74332) is ready to ship. Product Usage Information IHC Leica Bond: 1:4000 - 1:16000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:2000 - 1:8000 Storage Supplied in 10 mM PBS containing 0.05% BSA and 0.05% sodium azide. Stable for 36 months when stored at -20°C. This product will freeze at -20°C so it is recommended to aliquot into single-use vials to avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles . A slight precipitate may be present, but will not interfere with antibody performance. Protocol Available protocols: IHC Leica Bond, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Specificity / Sensitivity CD20 (L26) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody recognizes endogenous levels of total CD20 protein. Species Reactivity: Human, Monkey Source / Purification Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with human tonsil B cells. Background B-lymphocyte antigen CD20 (also known as MS4A1; Membrane-spanning 4-domains subfamily A member 1) is a cell surface phosphoprotein involved in the regulation of B cell activation and proliferation (1,2). It is commonly used as a marker to identify B cells and is expressed throughout B cell development, up until their differentiation into plasma cells. CD20 has no known ligand, and its expression and function are largely conserved between human and mouse (1-3). Evidence suggests that CD20 is necessary for store operated calcium (SOC) entry, which leads to elevated cytoplasmic calcium levels required for B cell activation (4,5). Anti-CD20 antibody immunotherapy depletes B cells by activation of the innate monocytic network and is a common treatment for B cell lymphomas, leukemias, and autoimmune diseases (6). Alternate Names B-lymphocyte antigen CD20; B-lymphocyte cell-surface antigen B1; B-lymphocyte surface antigen B1; B1; Bp35; CD20; CD20 antigen; CD20 receptor; CVID5; LEU-16; Leukocyte surface antigen Leu-16; membrane spanning 4-domains A1; Membrane-spanning 4-domains subfamily A member 1; membrane-spanning 4-domains, subfamily A, member 1; MGC3969; MS4A1; MS4A2; S7 Specification REACTIVITY: H Mk SENSITIVITY: Endogenous Source/Isotype: Mouse IgG2a kappa
