The Total Nutrient Admixture TNA Filter is an air eliminating filter with 1.2 μm low protein binding nylon membrane for the removal of inadvertent particulate debris and microorganisms ( Candida albicans ) from total nutrient admixtures and undiluted intravenous fat emulsions for up to 24 hours.
• Low protein binding 1.2 μm nylon membrane for the removal of inadvertent particulate debris, microbial contaminants such as fungi, and enlarged lipid droplets.
• Dual hydrophobic PTFE vents for air elimination.
• Designed for single patient use for up to 24 hours with lipid containing admixtures or lipid emulsions during parenteral nutrition.
• Safe for use with pressure infusion equipment, i.e. infusion pumps.
• Non-phthalate microbore downstream tubing.
• Not made with natural rubber latex.
• Sterile and non-pyrogenic fluid pathway.
All product materials in contact with the fluid pathway meet the relevant sections of ISO 10993 series of standards and/or USP Biological Reactivity Testing in vivo . These products are FDA 510(k) cleared.
