Product Description
Triethanolamine, a derivative of ammonia, belongs to the family of ethanolamine. It exhibits the properties of both amines and alcohols. Hence, it can react with acids to form salts and also undergo esterification. It is commonly used in the preparation of detergent raw materials, emulsifiers and in cement production, etc. It is also used as a chemical absorbent to remove acid gases like CO₂ and H₂S.
