The FT-IR In-Service Lubricants Application Pack contains all of the resources and components necessary to perform efficient lubricant analysis in the laboratory and out in the field.

The In-Service Lubricants Application Pack contains:

• Flow cell with ZnSe windows, a wedged spacer, and Leur fittings
• 3 mL Leur Lok plastic syringe starter pack of 100
• IR Liquid Cell Leur connected waste tube
• Teflon plugs (pack of 6)
• In-Service Lubricants Touch Apps^™ Software Kit

The Touch Apps Software Kit includes the software and SOPs to support the condition monitoring of in-service lubricants and provide a simplified workflow-driven operating environment; for faster, more reproducible analyses.

The Touch Apps software supports the following analyses:

• JOAP direct-trending methods for petroleum, synthetic lubricants, and hydraulic fluids.
• ASTM E2412 direct-trending and spectral-subtraction methods.
• PerkinElmer methods for mineral and synthetic oils, petroleum hydraulic fluids, and turbine fluids.

With this system, SOPs are provided for clear instructions for day-to-day use of the system. Calibration files are included to enable the system to be used with minimum setup overheads. Additionally, a User’s Guide is supplied with instructions for validation and maintenance of these calibrations, the preparation of samples, maintenance of the system, and customization of the Spectrum Touch applications.
