The Caspase-Glo
®
3/7 3D Assay is a homogeneous, luminescent assay that measures caspase-3 and -7 activities present in apoptotic 3D cultures. The assay reagent contains a luminogenic caspase-3/7 substrate in cell lysis buffer. A one-step addition of the reagent results in cell lysis followed by caspase cleavage of the substrate and generation of a luminescent signal. Luminescence is proportional to the amount of caspase activity present.
The assay is validated for use in a wide range of 3D cell models and is suitable for high-throughput applications. It can also be multiplexed with other homogeneous assays so you can get more data from a single well.
