GTF2H2(GENERAL TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR IIH, POLYPEPTIDE 2) is one of the six subnuits forming the core-TFIIH basal transcriptional factor. TFIIH plays a role in nucleotide excision repair (NER) of DNA and, when complexed to CAK, in RNA transcription by RNA polymerase II.
