Overview
These 2.0 mL reinforced polypropylene tubes withstand the impact of bead beating during bead milling and homogenization, providing durability and secure sample containment. Each tube includes a screw cap with an O-ring for airtight sealing, that helps maintain sample integrity under high-speed conditions and prevents leaks during processing. Recommended for use with Omni Bead Ruptor bead mill homogenizer systems, they support a working range of 200 µL to 1.5 mL and can endure temperatures from –80 °C to 121 °C, offering versatility of use within the laboratory. Tubes are certified RNase/DNase-free, making them suitable for most molecular biology applications, including DNA and RNA extraction after tissue disruption.
