Overview
Introducing Deck Verification, your automated workflow guardian.
Placed above the deck, it can verify the labware position compared to the selected protocol prior to and during a protocol run. This vision system can detect incorrect consumables, the misplacement of labware, and the absence or presence of other accessories such as Varispan™ Gripper, ODTC, shaker, or heater/cooler on the deck.
Product overview
Deck Verification is an optional vision system for Fontus and JANUS G3* workstations and features:

A single, central overview camera mounted on top of the instrument enclosure to survey the deck
Deck verification is enabled through seamless integration in the WinPREP™ software
It can be run automatically or on demand at the beginning of or during a method
The software identifies discrepancies allowing for manual correction prior to starting the run
It can detect variations in labware from different brands and types of labware
Enhanced flexibility allows to define multiple deck and labware configurations for different protocols
Settings portability enables simple copying from one protocol to another
The camera’s auto brightness and auto contrast can minimize the lighting changes’ impact on the deck verification process
Deck Verification creates a report to review the labware’s passed or failed verification.
