When antibodies are bound to Eu-labeled cAMP tracer, light pulse at 320 or 340 nm excites Eu chelate molecule of tracer. energy emitted by excited Eu chelate is transferred by FRET to ULight molecules on antibodies, which in turn emit light at 665 nm.
