The Sterisart® Universal pump | Gen 4 is a robust and reliable peristaltic sterility testing pump built from 316L mirror-finish stainless steel and used for sample and media transfer into the Sterisart® family of sterility testing canisters. It can be used in clean rooms, laminar air flow/biological safety cabinets or integrated (counter-sunk) into advanced aseptic processing systems, such as isolators. The Sterisart® Universal Pump features a compact, ergonomic, modular and open design.

The 4th generation of the Sterisart® Universal Sterility Testing Pump features a compact, universal design that easily adapts to various workspaces, including benchtops in clean rooms, laminar airflow / biological safety cabinets and other advanced aseptic processing systems, such as RABS and sterility testing isolators.

The pump is built from 316L mirror finish stainless steel and designed for easy disassembly of components, facilitating easy cleaning, and withstands the rigors of vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) decontamination.
The rotor-head is designed for superior accuracy and reliability, delivering precise liquid displacement for consistent volume distribution into the Sterisart® family of sterility testing canisters.
The intuitive tubing guide and clamps ease tube threading, and the manual fail-safe locking mechanism diminishes the risk of accidental jamming and downtime associated with automated closing systems.
The pump also features an open design. With its versatile slide-out drain tray design, it accommodates a range of sterility testing canisters on the market. Every component of the pump is designed for ease-of-use. The orientation, swivel, tilt, and height of various elements can be adjusted for optimal comfort. The pump also includes a customizable real-time overpressure monitoring system.
Like the Essential model, the Advanced model features a high performance 7" touch-screen display optimized for use with isolator-gloves. The display integrated barcode scanner facilitates material data capture.
But the Advanced model takes electronic documentation to the next level. It details every interaction of the user supporting comprehensive documentation, enabling Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) creation following the method feasibility and validation phase, and workflow automation, all without ever needing to lift a pen.
