Sartorius, 1757A----------Q, Minisart® SRP25 Venting Filter 1757A----------Q, 0.2 µm hydrophobic PTFE

Minisart® SRP with chemically inert hydrophobic PTFE is suitable for venting as well as harsh solvents with a pH of 1 - 14. Type 1757A with a pore size of 0.2 µm can be used for sterile venting. It has hose barb outlet. Version Q is a non-sterile bulk pack. Units can be sterilized by autoclaving or EO.

Non-sterile Minisart® SRP syringe filters are supplied in bulk packs. This reduces waste and makes the handling easier whenever the application allows venting under non-sterile conditions. In addition the non-sterile filters can be assembled and sterilised by the user. Due to its hydrophobic nature the PTFE membrane functions as a water barrier and does not become wetted by aerosols. This keeps the hydrophobic venting filter permeable for gas or air! The housing of the filter is made of PP (polypropylene) which is compatibility with harsh gases.
