Microcarriers are a support matrix allowing for expansion of adherent cells in the suspension culture. They are offered in both non-sterile autoclavable and sterile gamma-irradiated ready-to-use format to serve both research and manufacturing need. All microcarrier types are manufactured using solid modified polystyrene cores and surfaces are modified with proprietary chemistries to enhance cell attachment and growth performance across multiple adherent cell types. SoloHill® microcarrier types do not require lengthy pre-conditioning steps prior to their use in the cell culture processes and their basic properties facilitate simple cell detachment.

SoloHill® Microcarriers are a panel of protein coated, non-protein coated, positively charged and not charged microcarriers. Their solid cores facilitates efficient cell detachment at harvest and promotes high cell viability while maintaining cell critical quality attributes during expansion processes
