1 Assay CaptureSelect C1-InhXL Ligand Leakage ELISA is designed to detect possible leached ligand of C1-esterase inhibitor (C1Inh) purified using POROS CaptureSelect C1-InhXL Affinity Resin. The C1-InhXL affinity ligand is a 12–15 kD recombinant single-domain antibody fragment (VHH affinity ligand) expressed in yeast and covalently coupled to a chromatography matrix for high chemical stability and low leakage. During the chromatography process small amounts of the ligand can leach from the chromatography support and co-elute with the target protein.
