GeneChip™ Wash Buffer B GeneChip™ Wash Buffer B is used with the Prokaryotic Target Labeling Assay for 3' expression studies with GeneChip prokaryotic Brand Arrays. The assay utilizes reverse transcriptase and random hexamer primers to produce DNA complementary to the RNA. The cDNA products are then fragmented by DNase I and labeled with terminal transferase and biotinylated with GeneChip DNA Labeling Reagent at the 3' termini.
Functionally tested on GeneChip Brand Arrays, we recommend the Prokaryotic Target Labeling Assay and associated reagents for use in prokaryotic gene expression studies.
