25 mL POROS CaptureSelect C1-InhXL Affinity Resin is intended for the purification of human C1 esterase inhibitor from recombinant and plasma/serum sources. C1 esterase inhibitor is a protease inhibitor belonging to the serpin superfamily that inhibits the spontaneous activation of the complement system. The CaptureSelect C1-InhXL affinity ligand is highly selective for human C1 inhibitor and coupled to the high-performing POROS resin, allowing for an efficient and scalable purification process, with high purity and yield obtained in a single step. The large pore structure of the POROS beads enables higher flowrates and efficient binding of larger biomolecules.
