The lab equipment uses a Hydrophilic-Lipophilic-Balanced, water-wettable reversed-phase universal sorbent for acidic, neutral, and basic compounds. The Oasis HLB 5 cc Glass Vac Cartridge has been optimized for trace analysis at parts-per-trillion (ppt) level. Each lot of the lab equipment is tested for the presence of bisphenol A and other phenols and phthalates, ensuring that endocrine disruptors can be analyzed to ppt levels. The Oasis cartridge features a unique, ultra-clean glass syringe with Teflon frit to enable easy analysis of endocrine disruptors. Using the Oasis HLB 5 cc Glass Vac Cartridge, you get some key features such as stability at pH extremes and in a wide range of solvents, extraordinary retention of polar compounds, and a relative hydrophobic retention capacity that is three times higher than that of traditional silica-based SPE sorbents.
