Product Description

The 3 cc flangeless Oasis HLB cartridges contain the Oasis HLB sorbent, which is a universal polymeric reversed-phase sorbent that was developed for the extraction of a wide range of acidic, basic, and neutral compounds from various matrices using a simple, generic protocol. Since the Oasis HLB sorbent is water wettable, it maintains its capability for higher retention and excellent recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, which means there is no need to take extraordinary steps to keep the sorbent beds from drying out during the critical steps prior to sample loading. The flangeless configuration allows the cartridges to be closely packed for processing in specialized automated SPE systems.

Additional Information
Oasis HLB 3 cc Flangeless Vac Cartridge, 60 mg Sorbent per Cartridge, 30 µm, 100/pk The 3 cc flangeless Oasis HLB cartridges contain the Oasis HLB sorbent, which is a universal, multi-purpose, reverse-phase sorbent that can provide analyte specificity and increase sensitivity by using a mixed-mode oasis sorbent. The Oasis HLB Sorbent was developed for the extraction of a wide range of acidic, basic, and neutral compounds from various matrices using a simple, generic protocol, and it includes both reversed-phase and ion-exchange functionality for orthogonal sample preparation. As this Oasis HLB sorbent is water wettable, it retains its potential to provide higher retention and excellent recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, eliminating the need for extra precautions to prevent the sorbent beds from drying out during the key processes leading up to sample loading. Because the cartridges are flangeless, they can be tightly packed for processing in specialized automated SPE equipment. Analytes can interact with the sorbent and be retained when added directly in an aqueous sample solution using the Oasis HLB. With the use of the Oasis HLB, you save overall time and resources in conducting your analysis as it eliminates the need of equilibration and condition steps. Charged Surface Hybrid (CSH) technology enables superior peak shape and increased loading capacity for basic compounds. Packed in ultra-low dispersion hardware, 2.5 µm eXtended Performance [XP] columns enable exceptional separation performance, robustness, and throughput for HPLC assays while enabling a seamless transition path toward UPLC adoption.

FAQ
What Does Vial Color Mean When Choosing A Vial For Your Laboratory Experiments? When choosing the best laboratory equipment for their labs' needs and experiment requirements, scientists must examine a number of aspects. This is especially true with regard to choosing the optimal chromatography vial for a particular scientific application. Color is a significant consideration since it influences the chemical stability of the compounds or extracts. Waters produces glass and plastic vials in clear and amber colors. Depending on the contents gathered, an amber vial may be required to shield the contents from UV light, which might harm certain substances. Clear Vials give scientists with the best visibility of compounds, while Amber Vials are appropriate for easily destroyed substances.
