Columns from the ACQUITY HSS CN brand are fully scalable and convertible to HPLC separations. The ACQUITY HSS packing materials used in the Waters ACQUITY UPLC HSS Cyano (CN) Column were created expressly for use with the Waters ACQUITY UPLC System and are made in a cGMP, ISO 9001:2000 certified plant using ultra-pure reagents. Each batch of ACQUITY HSS material is chromatographically tested with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, and the results are confined to limited specification ranges to ensure excellent, repeatable lab equipment performance. Every column is independently examined, and on the eCordTM intelligent chip, a Performance Chromatogram and Certificate of Batch Analysis are presented. The pre-column does this by preventing any contaminants from entering the mobile phase. Since it is made using the exact same packing materials that are used in the column, it is ideally suited to the column.
