Additional Information
Symmetry C4 VanGuard Cartridge, 300Å, 5 µm, 3.9 mm X 5 mm, 1K - 150K, 3/pk The Symmetry C4 VanGuard Cartridge serves its job by being placed between the injector and the analytical column. The lab equipment improves the efficiency of the analytical column by obstructing the entry of chemical impurities and suspended particles. All 3.9 mm and 4.6 mm I.D. Symmetry C4 analytical columns with 5 µm sorbent particles are specifically protected by this cartridge. The lab equipment can be used with the Symmetry C4 column because it is constructed from the same packing material. You may be sure that the VanGuard Cartridge will preserve your column for a long time because it is built with the same high-performance packing materials as all of Waters' analytical columns. Because it was designed and constructed expressly for situations demanding increased capacity for biological fluid cleanup and/or temperature control, the Symmetry Cartridge is dependable. The Symmetry C4 VanGuard Cartridge, like all of Waters' other products, is created in a cGMP, ISO 9001-certified laboratory with ultra-pure reagents. This guarantees the exceptional quality and durability of Waters lab equipment. Furthermore, each batch of Symmetry C4 VanGuard Cartridge packing material is chromatographically tested with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, with the results held to the highest standards to assure reliable, consistent performance every time. Also, each piece of lab equipment is put through testing before being approved for use, ensuring that it will perform at its peak and increase the selectivity, sensitivity, and speed of your study. We recommend that you also invest in the LCGC Certified Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Screw Neck Vial, with Cap and Preslit PTFE/Silicone Septum, 2 mL Volume, 100/pk . These vials are made to meet the requirements of LC/GC certification and to take into account all aspects of use, including volatility, tray design, and needle design. An HPLC test is performed on every vial to check for traces of compounds introduced during processing and manufacture. The better resealing properties of the PTFE/Silicone septum will help with repeated injections and sample storage. These vials have PTFE chemical resistance up until rupture, at which point the silicone chemical compatibility of the septum kicks in. This permits operating temperatures between -40 C and 200 C.
