Product Description

The Extractables & Leachables Screening Standard is designed to complement the Waters Screening Platform Solution with UNIFI™. This mix is composed of 18 common polymer additives allowing users to evaluate and benchmark high resolution LC-MS systems. The Extractables & Leachables Screening Standard covers a mass range of up to 1176 Da, supporting both positive and negative ionization modes. Compounds were specifically chosen due to stable retention times and easy evaluation of mass accuracy. Simplify your screening workflow and eliminate time consuming standard preparation steps when analyzing samples for unknown contaminants. The standard mix is provided in a Waters Crimp Top vial for direct injection and contains the following compounds in 2 mL MeOH. • Irganox 1010 (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Irganox 245 (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Irganox 1076 (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Irganox 1098 (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Cyasorb 2908 (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Uvinul 3030 (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Propylparaben (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Ethanox 330 (Irganox 1330) (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Tinuvin 327 (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Diethyl phthalate (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Diphenyl phthalate (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Tris(p-cresyl) phosphate (TCP) (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • 2-hydroxy-4-octyloxy benzophenone (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Tinuvin P (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Uvitex OB (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Tinuvin 360 (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Dibutyl sebacate (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) • Methylparaben (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Store at 4°C ± 2°C (Refrigerated)

Additional Information
Extractables & Leachables Screening Standard Extractables & Leachables Screening Standard contains samples of common industry extractable and leachable compounds used to reliably evaluate system preparedness for non-targeted screening and unknown compound analysis. It is intended to be used as a benchmark or system suitability test standard as it contains an 18-component mixture. The components were selected based on a few key factors such as compounds that are representative of common industry polymer additives and preservatives, contain components that ionize in both positive and negative MS modes and compounds that enable you to cover a wide screening mass range. The Extractables & Leachables Screening Standard covers a mass range of up to 1176 Da, supporting both positive and negative ionization modes. These compounds were specifically chosen due to their stable retention times and easy evaluation of mass accuracy. By selecting the Extractables & Leachables Screening Standard, you can simplify your screening workflow and eliminate time-consuming standard preparation steps when analyzing samples for unknown contaminants. The standard mix is provided in a Waters Crimp Top vial for direct injection and contains the following compounds in 2 mL MeOH: Irganox 1010 (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Irganox 245 (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Irganox 1076 (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Irganox 1098 (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Cyasorb 2908 (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Uvinul 3030 (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Propylparaben (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Ethanox 330 (Irganox 1330) (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Tinuvin 327 (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Diethyl phthalate (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Diphenyl phthalate (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Tris(p-cresyl) phosphate (TCP) (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) 2-hydroxy-4-octyloxy benzophenone (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Tinuvin P (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Uvitex OB (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Tinuvin 360 (1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Dibutyl sebacate (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) Methylparaben (0.1 µg/ml+/- 1%) It is recommended to store the Extractables & Leachables Screening Standard at 4°C ± 2°C and to keep it refrigerated. You can browse our website to shop for lab equipment to fulfill your laboratory needs. We also recommend checking out the Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material ; the Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material contains 7 compounds, including uracil, butyl paraben, naphthalene, propranolol, dipropyl-phthalate, acenaphthene, and amitriptyline at pH 7. This standard mix should be used to confirm the benchmark performance of your analytical HPLC or UPLC system. This particular QC Reference Material is a specially formulated mix that includes a void marker, neutral, acidic, and basic compounds.

FAQ
How Does Obtaining A High Resolution In Chromatography Help The Analysis? In the field of chromatography, resolution serves as a function of peak width and retention time, both of which are inherent properties of the chromatographic process. Resolution measurement can be and frequently are used for optimizing separations. The higher the resolution obtained, the better results can be analyzed and with higher accuracy.
