The PCR Cartridge Domino is designed to securely hold a specific PCR-type plate in place during automated pipetting steps where tips will get "stuck" inside the consumable due to the design of the plate. This Domino design ensures that the plate doesn't move during the pipetting steps and can't get inadvertently picked up by the Andrew+ instrument after pipetting. Note: the "dispense from the bottom" option must be selected in OneLab when working with this consumable. Dominos are machine-readable consumable holders that create the interface between a variety of different consumable types and the Andrew+ pipetting robot to enable seamless automation of many different laboratory workflows. Equipped with QR codes housing critical labware information and ARUCO codes for spatial positioning, Dominos are an indispensable part of any Andrew+ automation configuration.
