These vials are suited for analyte concentrations in the 100’s ng/mL concentration. This LC/MS Certified Amber Glass Vial features a universal screw cap, which applies a mechanical force that squeezes the septum between the glass rim and the cap. This allows for an excellent seal and mechanically holds the septum in place during piercing. A Preslit PTFE/Silicone septum is used in this model to provide good resealing capabilities, making them recommended for multiple injections. This septum also eliminates coring from bottom draw-port needles and provides adequate venting which prevents vacuum formation in the sample vial and creates excellent sample-draw reproducibility. The Light Blue 12 x 32 mm Cap and PTFE/Silicone Septum for LCMS Certified Vials can be replaced as needed. Each vial can hold 2 mL volume of liquid and 100 vials are included per package.
