Waters SAM Reagent 1 is designed to separate sugars and related compounds using Waters Silica-Pak chromatographic cartridges. This reagent provides fast separations of high loads of sugars and withstands crude sample applications which can soon poison other sugar separations columns. Recirculation of mobile phase allows efficient and economical use of Waters Sam Reagent. Waters Sam Reagent 1 is particularly recommended for the separations of the following mixtures of sugars: -Fructose, Glucose, Sucrose, Maltose, and Lactose. -Lactose and Lactulose -Isomaltose and Maltose -Xylose and Xylulose Enclosed are five-twenty milliliter bottles containing enough reagent to make five liters of mobile phase or 1/2 liter of pre-treatment solution.
